Dulce Diaz, 71, of Perth Amboy, passed away on May 12, 2013, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. She was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on March 19, 1942. She has resided in Perth Amboy since 1964. Dulce was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

She was predeceased by her son, Juan De Jesus, in 2000 and her granddaughter, Juanica. She is survived by her husband, Juan Maria Diaz of Perth Amboy; her son, Jose Diaz of Fords; her daughter Mary Diaz of Fords; 10 grandchildren: Kiera, Nichole, Jennifer, Juan Jr., Monicka, Alexandra, Nadesh, Carmen, Laura, and Gabriel; 5 great-grandchildren: Taina, Tatyana, Ricky, Zanaira, and Delano; two sisters Josefina Hernandez and Gracie Batista of Perth Amboy; three brothers Marino Batista, Alberto Batista of Perth Amboy and Augustin Batista of Queens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral services will begin Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
