Douglas W. Tatton's Obituary
Douglas W. Tatton, 89, of Metuchen died April 6, 2011, at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park.
Born in Perth Amboy, Douglas was a life-long resident of Metuchen.
He was a professor from 1949 -1986 in the Fine Arts Department at Kean College. While teaching at Kean College, he attained his PHD from Rutgers University in 1958. He was a Topographical
Draftsman with the United States Army and served from 1942-1946.
Douglas is predeceased by his first wife, Constance Christine Clarkson in 1975. He is survived by his current wife, Helen Stummer of Metuchen and a son Gary Tatton of Maine.
A private cremation service was held. Arrangements were under the direction of FLYNN AND SON/KOYEN FUNERAL HOME, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, N.J.
