Dorothy P. Zimmerman (nee: Healy) of Menlo Park Terrace passed away on March 31, 2014 at St. Joseph's Senior Home in Woodbridge. She was born in Long Branch and resided in Menlo Park Terrace for 58 years. Dorothy was a nurse at RooseveltHospital for 22 years, retiring in 1990.

She was a communicant at St. Cecelia Church in Iselin, a member of the alumni of St. Peter's NursingSchool in New Brunswick and a member of St. John Vianney Senior Citizens.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband George in 2009 and her brother Edward Healy. Surviving are her sons, John and his wife Joanne of PA., Donald and his wife Siobhan of Cranford, David and his wife Carol of Hillsborough; her daughters, Patricia Zimmerman and her husband Ken Rajesky of VT. and Ann Marie Zimmerman of MA. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her sister, Theresa Vanderhoof of N.C.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 AM on Saturday April 5, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ with a 9:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Cecelia RC Church, Iselin. Interment will follow at St.Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Viewing will be Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM
