Dorothy Wyzykowski, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 30, 2025, at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. She was born on December 30, 1948, in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Walter and Mary Dunaj. A longtime resident of Sewaren, Dorothy worked as a clerk for the Metuchen Parking Authority.

Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Wyzykowski (2013), and her siblings Walter Dunaj and Terry Dunay.

Surviving Dorothy are her children, Richard Wyzykowski Jr. and his wife Terri, Sherrie Peake and her husband Michael, and Jennifer Orzechowski along with her husband Ted; her grandchildren Jason Peake, Ryan Peake, and Julianna Orzechowski; her siblings Steven Jurczak, Donna Schultz, and Debbie Hauselt; and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and "adopted" grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin on Friday, the next morning at the funeral home at 9:00 AM, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Port Reading, NJ. Entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum at St Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's name may be made out to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
