Dorothy J. McLaughlin of Metuchen, age 90, died Saturday February 15, 2014 at Care One Highlands NH in Edison. Born New York City on November 20, !923 she resided in Metuchen most of her life. Dorothy was a bookkeeper for several businesses in Metuchen and a Lunch Aid at the Edgar School. She was a communicant of St Francis Cathedral. Her husband William B. McLaughlin died in 1995 and her daughter-in-law Patricia died in 2005. Surviving is her son William P. McLaughlin of South Plainfield and 3 grandchildren Kelly, Kate and William.

Funeral services will begin Thursday February 20, 2014 at 9:45AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue Metuchen, NJ, Mass of Christian Burial 10:15AM St. Francis Cathedral, entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visiting hours are 7-9PM Wednesday February 19,2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made in her memory to Catholic Charities c/o Flynn and Son Funeral Home.
