Dorothy M. Gloff Ludewig 89, of Perth Amboy entered into eternal rest, Wednesday July 11, 2012, at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Menlo Park. She was born in Perth Amboy and was a life long resident of the city.
Dorothy was a 50 year member of the woman's guild at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church in Perth Amboy.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2003, and her sisters Mildred Gloff and Eileen Stringer. She is survived by her children Jeffrey and his wife Diane Ludewig of Fords, Alan Ludewig of Woodbridge, and Leslie Orlovsky and her husband George of Sanford, N.C., her brother Ronald Gloff of Jackson, grandchildren Kim and her husband Todd, Jennifer and her husband Daniel, Daniel and his wife Jessica, David and his wife Sarah, and Kristen, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 16, 2012 at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave. Fords, followed by a 10 am service at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Mausoleum. Visitation is Sunday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A wake service will be held on Sunday at 8 pm.
