Dorothy C. Lewandoski 88 of Fords entered into eternal rest Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy and is formerly of Metuchen for 20 years before moving to Fords a year ago.

Dorothy worked in Inventory Control at Squibb Inc. in New Brunswick for 20 years before retiring in 1984.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church in Fords.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Edward A. in 1983, and her siblings Eugene and Edward Zebrowski, Jean Kalista, and Ann Laneski. She is survived by her daughters Karen Lynn Fong and her husband William of Tinton Falls, and Sharon Harris and her husband Michael of Fords, her granddaughter Courtney, and Edmund Bromirski of Edison her partner of 20 years.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 21, 2014 at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:30 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
