Dorothy H. Lakatos, 90, of Edison, NJ, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Complete Care on Park Ave. in Plainfield, NJ

She was born on April 25, 1935 in Perth Amboy, NJ, and had resided in Edison for the last 60 years.

She was a graduate of  Perth Amboy High School.

She was a retired bookkeeper for many years with Con Weimer Trucking Co. of Linden.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alex Lakatos who died over 14 years ago.

She leaves behind her only beloved son, Jeffrey A. Lakatos and her beloved granddog "Capt Jack Spaniel"

Visitation will take place on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30, at the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840.

Followed by a funeral services  at 11:30 am  at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords, NJ.
