Dorothy Chigas Kayser, 75, of Fords entered into eternal rest July 29, 2012, at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Edison. She was born in Taylor, PA and has resided in Fords for the past 41 years. Dorothy was employed at Random House Publishers in Avenel for 25 years before retiring in 2000.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Kayser, in 2002 and her sister, Mary Thubborn. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Charles F., Jr. and his wife Judy of South Plainfield, and Jeffrey T. and his wife Joanne of Colonia; her granddaughter, Jessica Kayser of Plainsboro; her sisters: Anne Tappan of Los Osos, CA, Irene Gilboy of Englishtown, and Margaret Gallagher of Old Forge, PA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.
