Dorothy H. Karabinchak, 82, of Edison, passed peacefully away on April 11, 2016, surrounded by her family at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Griggstown and has resided for the past 56 years in Edison. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, William, Sr., in 2011 and her sister, Shirley Stearn. Surviving are her children, William, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Milltown; Donna Harmon and her husband, David, of Metuchen; Kathy Nadjavestky and her companion, Domenick Cucchiara, of Avenel; Sherri Strong and her husband, James J., of Jackson; her grandchildren: Justin, Adam, William III, Sean, Frank, Evan, and James; her great-grandsons, Gabriel and Brody; her sister, June Viggiano and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 11 AM on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Viewing will be Thursday, 4-8 PM.
