Dorothea (Dorothy) Gertrude Rogers  (nee: Cunnally) 93, a long time resident of Metuchen, passed peacefully on September 5, 2022,  at JFK Medical Center, Edison NJ

She was born in Dorchester, MA and formerly of New York City, she had resided in Metuchen for more than 35 years.

She was an inventory control clerk with the Morris Stores in Metuchen for many years until the stores closing.

Prior to that she had been employed with Revlon, Inc. in Edison for several years.

She was a communicant of St Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.

She was predeceased by beloved son, Glenn Rogers who died in April of 2013, and baby John Rogers and her dear sister, Edna Cunnally.

She leaves behind, her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles W. Rogers, her beloved daughter, Lynn McSpadden and her husband Michael of Spotswood and her 2 cherished granddaughters, Maggie and Micaela and her fiancé Joseph Zoltowski, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on, September 12, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840.

Funeral services will begin, September 13, 2022, at 9 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:15 a.m.

Funeral Liturgy at St Francis Cathedral Metuchen.

Interment will follow in the William C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown.
