Doris Marie Wares (nee: Harvie), 86, of Fords, passed away on April 30, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center.  She was born in Jersey City and has resided in Edison for 41 years.   Doris was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Jr., in 2011.

Doris is survived by her son, Edward and his wife, Candice, of Fords; her daughters: Sharon Delitizia of Freehold Township, Kelly Priante and her husband, Stephen, of Howell; her grandchildren: Joseph, DeAnna, Kimberly, Ashley and Heather; her brothers: John, William, and Robert Harvie; her sister, Mary Deloughery; and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, with a 10:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Viewing will be on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
