Doris Sutton (n. Heck), 95, of Barnegat, passed away at Southern Ocean Medical Center on February 13, 2021. She was born on August 13, 1925, in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. She lived in Edison, New Jersey for many years, retired from Revlon in 1988 and moved to Barnegat in 2004.

She is predeceased by her husband, Virgil Sutton; her parents, Edward and Malvina Heck; her son-in-law, Ed Fox; and her sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Alan Kunkle.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Patsy Fox and Bonnie Fox and Bonnie's husband Ken Fox; three grandchildren, David Fox, Traci Jones and Brian Fox; and ten great grandchildren.

Doris delighted in family and her life revolved around her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and family friends. There were many weekends together, backyard barbeques, holiday and other celebrations, day trips to the shore as well as to local parks, lakes and recreation areas. She also enjoyed attending sporting events to cheer for her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Starting in the late 50's, there was an annual drive to Florida to vacation and visit relatives. Her daughters remember driving in cars without air conditioning, and later her three grandchildren fondly remember drives in the family station wagon. In her later years, she looked forward to being taken for scenic rides and having lunches and dinners out.
