Doris Rita Larsen, age 85 of Kissimmee, FL, died on Monday at Windermere Health Center in Orlando, FL. She was born in New York City and had resided in Edison for 38 years before moving to Florida in 2009.
Doris was a secretary for the Fedders Corporation and Best Block in Edison. She was also active in the Pro Life movement.
Surviving are her loving family, her daughter, Pauline Mirdala of Avenel, her son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Kathy Larsen of Kissimmee, FL, her three grandsons, Derek and his wife, Heidi of Hamilton, Daniel and his wife, Jennifer of Colonia and David and his wife Lauren of North Brunswick and her two granddaughters, Kelly and Erin. Also surviving are her four great grandchildren, Drew, Gwendolyn, Will and Aaron, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Margaret Donovan of New York City, William and Gerri Donovan of New York City and James and Ann Donovan of Palm Harbor, FL and her sisters, Theresa O'Sullivan of Paramus, Helen Dumphy of Yonkers and Patricia Reimenarch of Teaneck.
