Doreen K. Jones, 86, of Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV, passed away at home on December 21, 2023. She had been a resident of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Twp. for 40 years.

Born in Johnstown, PA to the late Clyde and Erma Davis, she was raised and attended school in Richland, PA. Predeceased by her twin brother Dorian; younger brother Dwight; older sister Nina and brother Ed.

Doreen is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald H. Jones, of Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV. Her son Donald Jones, of Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV. Her daughter, Darla Downes and husband Martin, of Edison, NJ. Her granddaughter Sarah of Edison, NJ. Her sister Evelyn Simanski of South Plainfield, NJ. Her ever loyal buddy and faithful companion of 16 years, Pebbles, also of Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV.

She was a member, secretary and Thrift Store Co-Founder at Wesley Methodist Church, Edison, NJ.

As well as a member of the Desert Spring United Methodist Church, Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV.

Doreen and, her husband, "Don" spent 20 years at Robin Hill Camping Resort in Lenhartsville, PA with their friends "Barb" and Dave. Their time there became part of a long standing community of seasonal campers.

Doreen was an avid computer hobbyist; enjoyed knitting, crochet, sewing, crafting, playing piano, banana bread and bread pudding. Her eyes would forever light up when listening to Al Jolson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Homes, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Entombment will be held privately at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.
