Dora Brogna, 88, of Somerset died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Robert Wood University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born on Staten Island, she resided in Edison for 52 year before moving to Somerset 7 years ago.

Mrs. Brogna was a former Department Manager at Macy's, Menlo Park and East Brunswick. After her retirement from Macy's, she managed the gift shop at New Jersey's Veteran Home in Menlo Park for 6 years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's RC Church and a member of the Altar Society and Legion of Mary at Guardian Angel Church in Edison. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Edison and Red Hats of Somerset.

Mrs. Brogna is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Pasquale J. Brogna, in 1996, and a daughter, Patricia Wylie in 2003. Surviving family members include Lenora Byrne and her husband Jack of Somerset; Doreen Hurst and husband Carl of Edison; grandchildren: Michelle Capezza of Madison; Lisa Del'Re of Jackson; and David Wylie of North Brunswick.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 9:15 AM from Flynn & Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:15 AM at St. Augustine's RC Church. Burial will be at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation on Friday, May 14, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
