Donna Marie Tackach-Gasser 54, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest Tuesday at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy and was formerly of South Plainfield, and Edison before moving to Middletown, 4 months ago.

Donna was an ESL teacher at North Plainfield High School for over 20 years. She was a member of the North Plainfield Education Assn. and the NJEA.

She participated in the Breast Cancer Walk for Hope, and was involved with the US Tennis Assn.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Peter and Arlene Tackach and her brother Douglas E. Tackach. She is survived by her daughter Nicole A. Gasser at home and her siblings Catherine J. Tackach-Cox of Piscataway, Teresa A. Norci of North Hampton, PA, and John P. Tackach of Middlesex. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Donna was a dog lover; particularly Cinnamon and Bailey, her beloved pets.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 9 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R C Church. Interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation is Friday 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
