Donald Wyzykowski, as known as "Don "or "Wiz", 76, of Edison, died Sunday, April 30, 2023 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison.

Don was born in Jersey City to the late Loretta and Henry Wyzykowski. After settling in Menlo Park Terrace and graduating from JFK High School, Don served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant with the 78 ^th Infantry Division. He was a machinist with Conrail until his retirement.

Don was a proud partitioner of St. Cecilia's Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Counsel 857, 4 ^th degree member of the Rev. John J Griffin General assembly and Past Faithful Navigator 0667, The American Legion Post #248, and a member of the Woodbridge American Irish Association. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, friends Pat and Mike, Joe and Toni and Joe's group. Don was an avid bowler who spent many years on the municipal league. Don really enjoyed talking about all the fond memories he had of the countless hours spent with his daughter as a child from early morning crabbing excursions to rained on camping trips. As well as family gatherings and horseshoe tournaments.

Don is predeceased by his parents, sister Dolores Rogozinski and his brother Richard Wyzykowski. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Maureen Wyzykowski; his daughter, Erin Murphy and her husband, Mike; his sons Steven, Joe and his wife Dana, Mark and his wife Jennifer, daughter-in-law Roseann Lahey; his siblings, Lorraine Kau, Theresa Lynch and Geri Roberts; and sister-in-law Dorothy Wyzykowski; his grandchildren ,the light of his life Josie, Jeff, Daniel, Jaclyn, ,Andrew, Jason, Tammy, Alex, Chris and Keith. And a great granddaughter Evyn. Along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 4, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Friday  May 5, 2023 at 9:30 am at the funeral home.  A Funeral Liturgy follow at  10:15 am in St Cecelia's Church, Iselin, NJ.  Entombment will be in  Good Shephard Mausoleum in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Don's name to Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
