Donald C. Voorhees' Obituary
Donald C. Voorhees, 79, of Woodbridge, went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2019, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.
Born in Perth Amboy, he was a resident of Woodbridge most of his life. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, in the class of 1958.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1961 through 1963.
Donald retired from the Maintenance Department at Rutgers University in 2009, where he worked for over 23 years.
He is pre-deceased by his brother James Voorhees.
He is the beloved husband of Debra, loving dad to his daughters, Margaret, Debra and her husband Rich, and his son, Vincent. Cherished brother of Susan Palmblad and her husband Bob, and Coert Voorhees and his wife Mary Jane. Loving Grandfather to Wendy, Tamara, Richie, Marcellino, and Dario.
Cremation was held privately and a memorial service will be planned for a later date, which will be announced by Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863.
