Donald Ray "Omar" Jones was born on May 26, 1963, to Jessie James Jones and Mattie Joe Cooke. Omar transitioned his life on July 2, 2018, at home in Perth Amboy NJ.

Omar leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Margaret "Peanut" Jones; two daughters, Shanira Grant (Dwayne) and Shatekah Giles; four grandchildren: Jayla Benson, Aubrey Thomas, Jaylin Giles, and Dalvonte Thomas Jr.; three brothers: Reginald "Fat Boy" (Juanita), Ernest "Shaheed" (Donna), and Randy Jones.; his mother, Mattie Joe Cooke; his best friend, George Taversa; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018, from 1pm-3pm at Flynn and Sons Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.  Funeral Services will be at 3 pm in the funeral home.
