Donald H. Jones, 93, passed away on October 13, 2026, at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City, Nevada. Originally from Pennsylvania, Donald was a resident of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, for 40 years. He was a Korean War veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company.

For 20 years, Donald and his beloved wife, Doreen, spent time at Robin Hill Camping Resort in Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania, where they enjoyed time with friends and became part of a close-knit community of fellow seasonal campers. The years they spent there were a cherished part of their lives together.

Donald was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. One of his favorite traditions was setting up his Christmas tree, complete with his trains and Hess trucks. He enjoyed watching sports on television and attending Sunday church services with his beloved wife, Doreen, followed by one of their favorite traditions: sharing eggs and bacon after church. He also loved caring for his cats, Patches and Pebbles.

Donald was a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Edison, New Jersey, where he served as head usher and volunteered in the church thrift store.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Florence (Alwine) Jones; his beloved wife, Doreen; his brother, Jim; and his sister, Helen.

He is survived by his son, Donald; his daughter, Darla, and her husband, Martin; and his granddaughter, Sarah.

Donald will be remembered for his quiet nature, his cherished traditions, and the everyday joys that brought happiness to his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Entombment will be held privately at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
