Obituary of Donald H. Davis


Donald H. "Chip" Davis, Jr., 70, of Fords, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Davis was born in Perth Amboy to the late Donald H. and Agnes Brander Davis Sr. and had lived most of his life in Fords.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Clean in Earth Carteret for many years before retiring in 2014. Donald is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Audrey Kunie Davis, two sons, Chistopher Davis and his wife Brandi of Auburn, IN,, Kenneth Rapach of East Brunswick, NJ,, three daughters, Michelle Davenport and her husband Brian of Auburn, IN,, Tara Desantis and her husband William of Keansburg, NJ and Tracy Herman and her husband Gary of Cottage Grove, MN,, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 4:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation will follow in the Rosehill Crematory in Linden. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 3 - 5 pm.
