Domingo Estrella went to rest with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

He was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1954, the son of Juan Bautista Estrella and Zoila Estrella

He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather and friend - especially an amazing husband to Dulce Oliva. He cared deeply for those around him and dedicated his free time to his wife and daughter. He was an animal lover, especially to his dogs Sherman and Peanut, even his daughters dog, Leo, whom he affectionately called, "Malandro."  A family man, through and through

He was employed as a carpenter, who was in love with his craft and he never found a piece of wood that he couldn't find something to do with it. He could always be found crafting and fixing things and always crafted what he could, to make his wife's life easier.

He was an amazing pool player with trick shots you wouldn't believe.

He was an avid NY Mets baseball fan and a huge boxing enthusiast.

He was incredible fisherman with the patience to match.

Always the comedian, laughter and happiness followed him wherever he went. He made friends everywhere his travels took him. He never held grudges, and was an extremely forgiving person, who was always available to help those in need.

He loved to travel and loved adventure.

He played the guira in ways we can't begin to fathom.

He was a grill master, and inventive cook.

He has left us with broken hearts, but with such fond and hilarious memories to remember him by. There's so much to him, we could write a book.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Perth Amboy.

Interment will take place in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
