Domenico Cucchiara, 74, of Avenel, passed away at JFK Medical Center on October 13, 2021. He was born on June 10, 1947 in Ribera, Italy. He was a Machinist for General Motors. Domenick loved hosting gatherings with his family and friends. He played soccer, was an avid runner, and enjoyed a good sports conversation. Domenick was a top-notch at home Jeopardy contestant and carried a laugh like no other.

Domenick is survived by his companion of 26 years, Kathy Nadjavestky, of Avenel; two stepsons, Frank Nadjavestky, of Avenel, and Evan Nadjavestky, of Somerville; and his dog Kiedis, of Avenel.

Visitation will be Monday, October 18, 2021, 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 19,2021, 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Domenick's name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or an animal shelter of your choice.
