Dolores
Rogozinski
January 22, 1942 – March 27, 2022
Dolores Rogozinski, 80, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Dolores was born in Jersey City to the late Henry and Loretta Nigowski Wyzykowski. In 1964 she married Ronald Rogozinski, and they made their home in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township. Dolores, or "Aunt Dee" as everyone knew her, was an exceptional woman. She made a new friend in everyone she met, and you'd always know where she was by her extraordinary laugh. She spent a great deal of time babysitting and spoiling not only her nieces and nephews but all the children she came to know as well. When she wasn't busy doing that, she was working on her crossword puzzles and word games. Aunt Dee enjoyed her trips down to Atlantic City. But most of all, she treasured the time she spent sharing her homemade soups, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Aunt Dee was preceded in death in 1999 by her beloved husband of 35 years, Ronald. She is also preceded in death by her brother: Richard Wyzykowski, and three nephews: Gavin Kau, Jimmy Roberts, Kevin Lynch; and her brother-in-law, James Lynch.
She is survived by her siblings: Lorraine Kau, Geri Roberts, Theresa Lynch, and Donald Wyzykowski and his wife, Maureen; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Wyzykowski; 14 nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
