Dolores Ann Novis
AGE: 85 EDISON
Dolores Ann Novis, 85, our beautiful, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, rejoined her sweetheart Frank Novis Jr. on Monday February 11, 2013. She passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice at JFK medical center in Edison surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 26, 1927 in Plymouth, PA and resided in Edison most of her life. She enjoyed playing on her computer, playing card games, playing bingo, and the regular get-togethers with family.

Dolores is survived by her three children, Cynthia Matula, Ronald Novis and Donna Valentino . As well as her Son in Law Michael Matula, and her two Daughter in Laws Denise Novis-Stremlo and Michelle Novis. She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Turchin. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Lynn (Elliot) Harris, Rudy (Rosemary) Valentino, Johnny Matuska, Kristin Valentino, Edward Novis, Gregory Novis and David Novis, and 4 great grandchildren whom she adored greatly Jonathan, Gabe, Noah and Regan . She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Novis Jr, brother Edward Muchlin, son David Novis and son-in-law Rudolph Valentino Jr. Dolores grew to become mom/gram to everyone and truly touched many lives with her kindness, generosity and age old wisdom. She will greatly be missed by all that have grown to know Dee/Ma/Nanny.
Funeral services will be held on Friday February 15, 2013 at 9:45 am at the Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen followed by a 10:15 am funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park. Visitation in Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
