Dolores Rita Muska, 84, a longtime resident of Edison, passed away on October 3, 2015. She was 1948 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Perth Amboy, where she met her husband of 64 years.
After graduation, she attended Drake Business School and was then employed as a secretary at Merck & Company and at California Oil.
Mrs. Muska was PTA officer and CCD volunteer at St. Francis Cathedral School, delivered Meals on Wheels and bowled in various leagues at Woodbridge Bowling Center.
She was predeceased by her newborn son Raymond F. Jr., and by her parents Marion and Francis Balewitz of Perth Amboy.
She is survived by her husband Raymond, her daughter Maria Andes and her husband Gene, and her son Mark and his wife Stephanie.
Dolores is also survived by her granddaughters Heather, Melissa and Nicole Robitaille; by her grandchildren Bethanie, Mark, Krista, Addison, Ryan, Callie, and Wendy Muska; and her great grandson Jayce Boula.
Mrs. Muska also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Phyllis Muska.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords followed by a 10:15 AM funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn. Viewing will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
