Obituary

Dolores M. Cooper (Medieros), 81, of Edison, passed away on April 10, 2014, at the New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Home in Menlo Park Terrace.  Born  in Perth Amboy, she lived most of her life in Middlesex County.  She worked as a Hostess for over 29 years at Jack Cooper's Deli which she co-owned and operated with her husband.

She was predeceased by her late son, Lois "Pepe" Medieros (2013); and her brother, Joseph Medieros.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Jack Cooper, to whom she was married for 29 years.  Her children Dominick Delicato and Dawn Rinaldi; step-children: Warren Cooper, Amy Tunison, and Cheryl Schickler; nine grandchildren: Dominick, Stephen, Nicole, Salvatore, Max, Ria, Ellie, Ross, and Melanie; a brother, Richard Medieros; and two sisters, Mildred Hunnings and Lillian Medieros.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 10 am at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Home, 132 Evergreen Road, Edison, NJ 08837.
