Dionisia I. Martinez, 93, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. She was born on October 8, 1931 in Baez, Cuba where she lived until moving and settling in Perth Amboy in 1971. Once settled, Dionisia worked for The Barge restaurant in town and was a housekeeper for the Perth Amboy General Hospital. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, located in town on Smith Street.

Dionisia was predeceased by her parents, Bernardo and Carmen Gonzalez.

Surviving Dionisia is her loving husband, Luis C. Martinez; her three children: Luis A. Martinez, Victor Martinez, and Jorge (Brenda) Martinez; and her three cherished grandchildren: Jonathan, Justin, and Brandon.

Visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 PM andf 8:00 PM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral Services will begin the following morning Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the funeral home at 9:30 AM. A procession will follow to Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 380 Smith St., Perth Amboy, NJ for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, 703 Amboy Ave., Perth Amboy NJ.
