Obituary

Diane (Marzano) Sclafani, a longtime Staten Island resident before moving to New Jersey in 2017, passed away on Thursday evening, February 23, 2023.
She recently celebrated her 62nd wedding anniversary with her husband, Joseph.
Together they published the Staten Island Register before retiring in 2002.
She is also survived by her daughter Joanne and son-in-law Michael, daughter Fran, and son Larry and daughter-in law Kathy, as well as seven grandchildren - Robbie, Sarah, Tommy, Kate, Eddie, Nina and Paul . She was predeceased by her brother Vinny.
Her family and friends treasured her, and will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son / Koyen  Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840.
Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday morning, February 28, 2023, at 8:30 am at the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, followed by a 9 am Funeral Liturgy at St Francis Cathedral, Metuchen.
Interment will follow in St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation in honor of her grandson Eddie, who held a big piece of Diane's heart, at
