Diane M. Oberhuber, 76, passed away surrounded by family, on March 12, 2023, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, NJ.

Diane was born in New Brunswick, NJ on October 15, 1946, to the late Bernice ( n. Banks) Oberhuber. She attended St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy and graduated class of 1966. Diane continued her education to earn her LPN. She proudly worked as a nurse at JFK Medical Center in Edison until her retirement.

Diane is also predeceased by her daughter, Erika Sanyigo, who passed in 2019; her granddaughter, Hope; and her brother, Joseph "Buddy" Oberhuber.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Sanyigo; her children: Shannon Gonzalez and her husband, Edgar, of Manchester; Nicole Sanyigo and her husband, Javier, of Cream Ridge; Ashleigh Popleik and her husband, Eric, of Old Bridge; Amanda Isgro and her husband, Dominic, of St. Pete Beach, FL; Christian Sanyigo and his fiancé, Lisa, of Palm Harbor, FL; her 11 grandchildren: Emily, Jordan, Karamia, Katie, Alexander, Moises, Mia, Jetli, Justin, Christopher, and Alianna; and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte.

Diane enjoyed summer vacations in Midway Beach. She loved bringing the family "down the shore" and having the whole family together. She loved teaching her grandchildren to bake pies and make her famous Hungarian cookies. Her greatest pride was being a mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Arrangments have been entrusted by Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. in Fords, NJ.

Cremation will be held privately.
