Diane J. Lamar's Obituary
Diane J. Lamar, 53, of Beachwood, passed peacefully, with her family at her side, on Monday, June 24, 2013 at RWJU Hospital in New Brunswick.
She was born in Plainfield, was formerly of Edison, Mesa, AZ and Santa Barbara, CA, where she had resided until moving back to NJ in October of 2011. She graduated from Edison High School, in 1978.
Prior to her illness, she was employed as a front desk supervisor with Hilton & Double Tree Hotels, in Phoenix, Az
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Joan Lamar who died in 1993.
Diane leaves behind her two brothers, Robert Lamar and his wife, Larissa of Whiting NJ and Gary Lamar and his wife Linda of Beachwood, with whom she resided, her sister, Linda Howell and her husband, Glenn, of Chandler, AZ, her nieces and nephews, Melissa, Kim, Kelly, Kyle, Lindsey and Jennifer, also surviving are eight great nieces and great nephews.
A private Memorial Service will be held at the Lake Nelsen Memorial Park Mausoleum,in Piscataway, NJ
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
Diane's family would sincerely like to thank the Central Jersey Oncology Assoc., especially, Dr. Ellen Ronnen and all the 5th Floor Oncology Staff at RWJ.
