Diane S. Greenspan (nee Doctofksy), 75, of Skillman, died December 1, 2010, at Stonebridge at Montgomery Assisted Living.
Born March 7,1935, in Perth Amboy, she resided in Skillman for the last 10 years. Prior to her move to Skillman, Diane lived in Edison for 35 years. She was a teacher in the Perth Amboy School System for 28 years. She was also an Adjunct Professor at Kean University and served as the Supervisor of Student Teachers.
Diane was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1953. She was a graduate of Adelphi University, Class of 1957. She was a member of the Jewish Center of Princeton. She was a previous
member of Temple Neve Shalom in Metuchen and Beth Mordecai in Perth Amboy.
Diane was a devotated wife to her husband of 52 years, Allen S.
Greenspan. Devoted mother to her daughter Lisa Thomas and her husband Gary of Ashburn, VA, and her son, Larry Greenspan, and his wife Bonnie of Columbia, MD. Devoted grandmother to Dayna and Jamie Thomas, and Carly and Haley Greenspan; two brothers: Roy Doctofsky of Marlboro and Daniel Doctofsky of Florida; two
sisters: Rita Kagan of Edison and Nancy Okun of Basking Ridge.
Funeral services will take place at 12:00 noon Friday, December 3, 2010 from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery.
