Devol A. Potter, 54, of Metuchen, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Potter was born in Antigua, West Indies to Bobby Joseph and Loretta Potter and had previously lived in Brooklyn before moving to Metuchen twenty years ago.

Devol was employed by Metro Prime Capital in New York, before his retirement earlier this year.

He was predeceased by his brother Gregson Airall, his grandfather Lauriston Potter and grandmother Marie Potter and his uncle Allan Potter.

He is survived by His mother Loretta Potter of Metuchen, his daughter, Shavon Potter of Chicago, IL, his son Deandre Potter of Jamaica, NY, one sister, Annette Potter of Brooklyn, NY, two grandchildren, Sa'Kye Prince and Sa'Viah Proctor, a niece, Danielle Brown, great niece, Aniyah Brown and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 4:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Cremation services will be held privately. Visitation hours will be held Saturday from 1 - 5 pm.
