Dennis Valetutto, 70, passed away on January 6th, 2023 at Old Bridge Regional Medical Center.

Dennis was born in Perth Amboy to the late Angelo and Mary Valetutto. He was a graduate of Middlesex County Vocational School in Woodbridge.

He married, Eleanor Skelly, in October 1982 and they were married for 40 loving years. They were later blessed with their son, Daniel Lewis. While Daniel was growing up, Dennis was a hairdresser owning his own shop, Flair for Hair, in Carteret for many years. He then sold his business and worked until retirement at Carteret Family Hair Care. He also worked as a front end runner at Carteret Shoprite.

Dennis loved to vacation to Disney World and in his spare time, he loved to watch the Game Show Network with his beloved dog, Buster, on his lap. However, his greatest joy, was being "Poppop" and cherishing the time he spent with his beautiful granddaughter, Francesca Josephine. He was a member of Don Bosco Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree, and a member of Woodbridge Knights of Columbus #857.

Dennis is predeceased in death by his parents, Angelo and Mary (Biloholowski) Valetutto, his brother Kenneth Valetutto and his best friend and dog, Buster. He is survived by his dear wife, Eleanor (Ellie Skelly) Valetutto, his two sons, Jeffrey of North Carolina and Daniel, his wife, Alyssa, and the "love of his life" granddaughter, Francesca, his brothers, Angelo and Roslyn, Ronald and Kaye, Paul and Lisa, Lorenzo and Monica, and his sister-in-law, Patty Valetutto. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Gladys Zawilinski along with several neices and nephews as well.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Knights of Columbus service to begin at 7:00 pm, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.  Funeral Services will take place the following day, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 9:15 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 am at St. John Vianney RC Church, 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
