Dennis "Brown" Remdes, 84, of Carteret, NJ, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Arista Care at Alemeda Care Center in Perth Amboy, NJ.  Born on January 26, 1940, in Cane Grove, Guyana, he then immigrated to the United States of America in 1987, settling in Jersey City, NJ, before moving to Carteret, NJ in 1995, where he had currently resided. Dennis was a retired welder with Guyana Stores, (formerly known as Bookers) in New Amsterdam, Guyana.

He was predeceased by his parents Ramdass Sarju and Nellie Seecharan Ramdass.

He leaves behind his wife, Chandra (nee: Khoblall) Remdes; sons, Kumar of Montvale, NJ, and Vijay of Evans, GA; grandchildren, Dr. Dennis, Lisa & Vance; his brothers, David and Derek; and his sister, Daisy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Cremation will follow at 12 noon at the Rosehill Crematory, 792 E. Edgar Road, Linden, NJ 07036.
