Dennis P. May, 73, passed away on March 2, 2018. Born in North Bergen, to John and Marion May, Dennis had lived in Woodbridge, Perth Amboy, and Englishtown before settling in Virginia 10 years ago.  He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Dennis was a Field Engineer with Verizon for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2002.  He was a former member of Our Lady of Peace Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Dennis was predeceased by his brother, John May.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 20 years, Denise G. May; his two sons, Michael May and his wife, Kathleen, and Brian May; six sisters: Donna and her husband, Dale, Rose and her husband, Jack, Peggy, Maureen, Beth and her husband, John, and Kathy; and his sisters-in-law, Candace and Suzanne.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St James Church in Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 9 PM.
