Denise Ortiz 67, of Sayreville, entered into eternal rest Thursday March 11, 2021 at her home.  She was born in New York City and has resided in Sayreville for the past 30 years.

Denise was a Registered Nurse at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan  for 42 years  before retiring in 2019.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jose Ortiz.

She is survived by her siblings; Yvonne Ortiz of Langhorne, PA, Yvette Ortiz Delgado of North Brunswick, and Carlos Ortiz of Davenport, FL, and her nephews and nieces; Nelson Todd Rodriguez, Chris and Scott Ortiz, Monica Ortiz Hopkins, Dawn Ortiz Farbman, Lauren Ortiz, and Kristen Delgado.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima R C Church, 380 Smith Street, Perth Amboy.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Sayreville.  Visitation is Tuesday March 16, 2021 from 4pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
