Deborah Demarest, 63, of Colonia, passed away on February 6, 2017, at J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. She was born April 17, 1953, in New Brunswick. Deborah was a Private Duty Nurse.

She was predeceased by her father, John Demarest, and brother, Wayne Demarest.

Deborah is survived by two sons, Brett Rome and his wife, Melissa Rios, of Perkasie, PA and  Alex Cannon of Edison; a daughter, Sarah Cannon, of Princeton; her mother, Ruth Demarest, of South Plainfield; her sister, Diane Demarest- Dattilo, of Colonia; and five grandchildren: Alyssa, Olivia, Alora, Julian and Michaela.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. A memorial service will be at 8:30 pm on Thursday in the funeral home.
