David P. Sadvary, 56, of Edison, passed suddenly on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at his home. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, on June 21, 1963. He was raised in Fords, before moving to North Carolina and had resided in Edison for the last 5 years. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, with the Class of 1981. He was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, serving in the U.S Army.  David was formerly employed as a Welding Inspector through Operating Engineers Local 112 for over 20 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Celia Sadvary, and three of his siblings: Charles Anthony Sadvary, Bernadine Hubschman and Theresa Sulse.

David leaves behind his former wife, Karen Sadvary; his three daughters: Shannon Sadvary, Nicole Iverson, and her husband, Justin, and Lauren Burgess and her husband, James Allen, all of Clinton, North Carolina; his five grandchildren: Makenna, Kaylie, Emma, Bryson and Wyatt; and his four remaining sisters: Johanna Gleason of Collegeville, PA; Sandra Husko of Edison; Pat Rinaldi with whom he resided; and Donna Setzer and her husband, William, of Piscataway.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 19, 2019, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, September 20, 2019, at 10:00 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. Cremation will follow privately.
