David F. Kober, 49, of Perth Amboy, passed away on November 4, 2014 at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark. He was born in Newark on March 4, 1965. David has resided in Perth Amboy for the last 47 years. He was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the CBS Men's Bowling League. David loved to fish and was a fan of the NY Football Giants.
David was predeceased by his father, William Kober in 2012.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Kober of Perth Amboy; daughter, Megan Kober of Woodbridge; mother, Marie Kober of Perth Amboy; brother, Bill Kober and his wife Cheryl of Perth Amboy; grandmother, Catherine Wagner of Perth Amboy; and nieces, Jennifer and Stephanie Kober.
Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy in Good Shepard Parish at Holy Spirit Church. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
