David Charles Bogert, 62, of Edison, passed away on January 3, 2018 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia
He was born in East Orange and resided in Edison for 25 years.
David was a police officer for 25 years with the Berkley Heights Police Department.
He was predeceased by his parents, David and Marylouise (Kriz), and his sister, Noreen Bogert. Surviving are his son, Christopher of Howell, his daughter, Stephanie Bogert of North Bennington, VT, his brother, Richard of FL., and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be 4-8 PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords with a funeral service at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
