Daniel Jason Ruddy entered into eternal rest on September 6, 2023 at his home in Metuchen, NJ.

Daniel attended Evangel Church Scotch Plains, NJ and Metuchen Assembly of God Metuchen, NJ. He attended Metuchen schools and played Pop Warner football, soccer and excelled in sports. He also attended Royal Rangers and played the saxophone in the church orchestra.

He grew up with a heart to care for and minister to people who were hurting. Daniel was also in the process of starting an "out mates" and veterans ministry to help people find their way.

He was predeceased by his sister Cozette (Coco) Ruddy. He is survived by his three children Elijah Ruddy, Josiah Ruddy and Madison Ruddy. His Mother Rev. Carol Gioia of Metuchen and father Scott Ruddy of Florida. His siblings David, Lea, Carol Jean, Sarah and Evan. As well as his grandchildren Cyrus, Cameron and Korra, his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:30am where there will be a time for sharing and prayer from 11:30am - 12:30pm.  Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
