Daniel M. Fuge Jr., 71, of Edison, passed away on April 29, 2020.  He was born and raised in Metuchen, and raised his family in Millstone Township before moving to Jackson where he resided for 20 years.

Daniel is a graduate of Metuchen High School and Marshall University in West Virginia where he received a degree in Journalism.  He was employed as a Communications Director with JFK Hospital in Edison prior to his retirement where he was a member of their bowling and softball league.  He also spent time working in insurance sales. He enjoyed going to the gym, working on cars, the outdoors, music and spending time with his family.

Daniel is survived by his children: Nichole Fuge of FL; Daniel Fuge and his wife, Staci, of Forked River; Jennifer Blanchard and her fiancé, Anthony Strangia, of Belmar; and Kristen Sabatini and her husband, Luis, of El Paso, TX.  He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Brooks, Ashley, Adrianna, Jaxon and Charlotte.

Due to current restrictions, services for Daniel were private and held under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.
