Daniel Peter Calabrese 88 of Fords entered into eternal rest, Tuesday October 14, 2014, at his home. He was born in Hoboken and has resided in Fords for the past 55 years.

Daniel was a Line-a-Type operator with Titra Film Lab in North Bergen for many years before retiring in 1991.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Daniel was predeceased by his daughter Carol in 1971, and his siblings Anthony, Albert, Fred, William, Alphonse, and Florence Rapella. He is survived by his wife Carmela Elizabeth Iannantuono Calabrese, and his son Russell Christopher Calabrese of North Hollywood, CA, and his sister Grace Stanzione of Fort Lee, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 17, 2014 at 11:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 pm to 4 pm only.
