Daniel L. Balog, 80, of Woodbridge, passed peacefully on Friday, March 19, 2020, at the Venetian Care and Rehabilitation in South Amboy.

Born in Peth Amboy, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Twp..

He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy, with the class of '58.

He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired Electronic Technician for the United States Postal Service in Kearny.

He was predeceased by his two brothers; Nicholas and Stephen Balog.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara D. Balog, and his beloved daughter, Traci Balog of Woodbridge Twp.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday morning, March 23, 2021, at 10 am, from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
