We are deeply grieving the loss of our beloved Mami, Dania Venero Febles. Her heart knew no bounds; she was the absolute definition and true role model of what a mother should be, and always was. Her fierce, protective love shielded her five children, eight grandchildren, her newborn great-granddaughter, her extended in-laws, and her surviving sister and family. Even from afar, her warmth radiated through every phone call; you always felt exactly how deeply you were loved. Though her health failed her in recent months, she possessed an incredible inner strength, always managing to find a spark of humor even in the bleakest moments. We will forever remember her boundless joy for dancing, her humor, her famous Cuban cooking, and, of course, her fondness for a good "ciggie-digee." She leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and laughter that will live in our hearts forever.
