Corrine "Corky" Evans,84, of Edison died Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Corky was born in Newark and has been residing in Edison since 1953. She worked as a clerk for A&E Cleaners on Route 27 in Edison for 20 years.
She is predeceased by her late husband, Russell Frederick Evans. She is survived by her 2 sons: William Evans of Cranford, and Thomas Evans of Edison and 4 grandchildren: Jennifer, Matthew, Melissa, and Amanda Evans.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, August 9, 2010, from 12:30 to 2:30 PM only at FLYNN AND SON/KOYEN FUNERAL HOME, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ. A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Haven Hospice Unit of JFK Medical Center in Edison.
