Obituary of Cora Crespo


Cora Crespo, 85, of Fords, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Crespo was born in Prudence, West Virginia to the late Leopoldo and Herminia Llamas and had previously lived in Newark before moving to Fords fifty two years ago.
Mrs. Crespo was employed as a receptionist by Jim Beam in Edison for five before her retirement in 1994.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.
Cora was predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent in 1999 and also by one brother and two sisters.
Surviving are her loving daughter: Karen Minnella and husband Carmine of Fords, and her dear grandchildren Ricky and Laura both also of Fords.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery also in Fords. Visitation hours will held Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
