Constancia Mary Rogers, known as "Granny," 87, of Keasbey, died on Monday, May 3, 2010 at home. Born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, she resided in Keasbey since 1984. She was a housekeeper at St. Cecelia R.C. Church in Iselin for 29 years,retiring in 1965 and then Our Lady of Hungary R.C. Church, Perth Amboy for 10 years. She was a Communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Perth Amboy, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Altar & Rosary Society; she was also a member of the Olive St. Senior Citizens, Perth Amboy; babysat for many local children.

She was predeceased by her son, Victor L. Richardson in 2002. She is survived by her children, Armando T. Bess of Montgomery, AL, Dr. Gwendolyn Naomi Rogers of Augusta, GA, Magdalene Dawn Belcher of North Plainfield, Lorraine Greene of St. Croix, and Theolinda Bess of Keasbey; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, George M. Bess of St. Thomas. Special thanks to her niece and caregiver, Anna Pastrana.

Funeral Service on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 8:30AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, followed by 9:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Perth Amboy. Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2010, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
